AirPods Pro Review - The Game Changing Singer

Have you guys ever used any AirPods in your entire life while going out in the public? Well, if you have, you know how annoying it is to hear a mix of the song or the podcast you are listening to and at the same time the jarring noise from outside filled with crappy vehicle noises, crowd noises and horns.

What if I say you, you don’t have to have those crappy days again?

And the reason for that is because Apple got you covered with their $249 AirPods Pro with all new active-noise cancellation for the first time which obviously makes them some sort of Pro even though Apple love to brand their products so good as “Pro”.

Case

It’s a little bit bigger than before, Now it opens on the longer end and still fit in your pant’s pockets. Of course, it also supports the magical wireless charging.

Design

Being one of the major redesigns, the new AirPods has changed the way that they go into your ear. As the previous versions like the AirPods or AirPods 2, they just go in and just sit there. But if you are a pretty active person, I mean if you are always on the go or maybe even hitting the gym, most of users have found them falling down when they go hard, no matter what. I find it just killing the pump if in the gym cause I’m just missing out that beat I was training listening to.

But, the new ones come with silicone tips and they have a in-ear design and they stay in so much better even if you are running at like a beast.

But, some people don’t like how they feel just because of the fact it just compresses air and that weird feeling when you enter em to your ear and creates this sort of pressure like you are almost underwater.

But, for every problem you have, the market got a solution for you!

And, so does Apple.

So for the AirPods Pro, Apple has come up with a really the clever solution which is a small vent on the  outside of each AriPod that equalizes the pressure on the outside and the inside so that it feels better even when you are talking loud and that sort of feeling that you get when you talk too loud. But, you don’t have to deal with it anymore as long as you have a pair of these.

And the hard plastic also does not touch your ear very much and that is the solution for long listening soreness in your ear.

Oh come on now, if you love music, you know that we’ve all been there.

This time, Apple was also kind enough to send you 3 more silicone tips in the box so you don’t have to buy some third-party tips to make sure it fits your ear. Thank You, Apple! So kind of you, also don’t forget the fast charger on the iPhone next time ;]

Well so you might be thinking now, how do I pick the right size?

So basically, you can run this test on the setting menu that the ones that you have chosen produce the best sound quality possible. You will hear a few seconds of music and an inside facing microphone analyzes the sound in your ear canals when you are hearing it and it compares that back to the original audio. If there’s too much of a difference the earbuds might be loose and you’ll be told to try another size.

It's 2020, technology has come a long way, guys!

But sometimes, some people will end up with different sizes on both of them which make you feel a bit weird, but don’t worry, no ones gonna come and investigate your AirPod’s tip sizes.

And remember, choosing the right size depends on how comfortable you feel when you wear em, how tightly it stays in your ears, and the sound quality you get our of it.

Well, what if you lose one when trying to replace?

Don’t worry, Apple has replacements on their stores for about 4 bucks.

In previous versions, you had to learn a series of taps that you press on to skip tracks or bring up Mrs. Siri. But now it has an all-new force sensor integrated which you squeeze to do things.

Fun Fact: A fast squeeze will play/pause tracks and answer phone calls, double squeeze skips to the next song, and a triple of them will go back. Squeezing and holding the sensor will switch between active noise cancellation and transparency mode

But still, you have no option to increase or decrease the volume which you can only do by talking to Mrs. Siri or by pulling your hefty phone out.

Transparency mode

This new feature, technically speaking, amplifies the outside audio, in a natural way so you can hear traffic or any announcement and will keep you safe from getting hit by a car;] You can have transparency mode on whenever you want. So if you have been used to your previous AirPods hearing the ambiance outside, you still can get the same experience here.

Noise Cancelation

This is by far the most known new feature-packed in this buddy.

You can turn it with the sensor, you can do it in the control center or you can request Mrs. Siri to turn it on. Perhaps, Siri won't turn you on, but the noise cancellation will ;]

Apple’s noise cancellation system uses a pair of microphones one outside and one inside. The outside one takes a reading of all the sound around you and then blocks that out with anti-noise and the inside mic will try to catch whatever comes through and try to cancel that out. It's like “Noise is Canceled!”.

And not gonna lie, this noise cancellation is legit! It for sure does its job. If you turn down the volume you will be able to hear some outside sounds but it's pretty good since they are not meant to DJ at a live performance.

Sound

They sound very good. Way better than at least the previous versions. They are balanced and neutral and the silicone tips have made the bass sound better.

Call Quality

As you might know, AirPods have the best reputation for making voice calls than any other on the market and it makes sense because the mic is closer to your mouth. But with the AirPods Pro’s short stem things have reduced a little bit, meaning you will lose a little bit of audio quality when making a call since they are a bit far away from your mouth and at the same the time they have to cancel the outside noise that it's picking up with your voice which when compared to the previous AirPods doing a great job because of its long stem which really knows what sound to pick up exactly when using the mic.

Battery

Apple claims you can have a solid 4.5 hours of continuous playback with noise canceling on in a single charge which is pretty close to the 5 hours you get with the regular AirPods and turning off noise cancellation will not have a significant amount of battery life increase.

But with the case, you still can get to 24 hours of total listening time.

So, should you buy the AirPods Pro?

Well, Because of the all-new noise cancellation, the improved sound quality and most importantly the design staying fit in your ears even when in an intense workout and truly feels like a next-gen product, if you have an iPhone and don’t have any AirPods yet or maybe you have one but is ready to upgrade spending $250 on some magical wireless earbuds, then, go for it.
