This is the beautiful, fantastic, incredible and intelligent, Cozmo the robot.
So let's start by finding out who Cozmo is precise?
Cozmo is a robot who sounds a lot like robots in some kids’ films.
But, this robot here is real and has a true likable personality.
He thinks on his own.
He sneezes.
He says hello when he recognizes people and even cats and dogs.
And he is just truly a great little cute robot.
Build
So, what exactly is inside this little robot?
Well, not a lot of people know about what exactly is inside, except the company which produces little Cozmos.
However,
He is made from over 300 individual parts and works on the Wi-Fi frequency of 2.4 GHz and houses a built-in camera to itself to make sure you can also see what he sees through your mobile device.
And he plays for around 60 to 90 minutes before going back to recharge itself to the charging hub and takes about 1 hour to finish restoring himself completely.
And a quick note, you have to fully charge him every single time you want to play with him, so its always better to keep him charged so that you don’t feel lonely in your free time.
Cozmo can also go as far as 40 -50 feet away at a maximum from you. At the same time, you control him via your mobile device through his App downloaded to your phone without any signal losses or any disconnections between you.
Features
Oh boy, Cozmo’s all about the features it features!
There are a ton of things you can do with this funny little robot.
And even if you don’t want to play with him, he will still proceed to go and explore his surroundings, sneeze, he will sing, and also even play with his blocks, or he might even take a little sleep, of course, because of the fact he is an artificial intelligence robot.
As I mentioned above, he also recognizes cats and dogs, which is truly a remarkable feature, and even greets them with an awooooh.
Setting-up
To make things work, you place Cozmo on his charger, and then you turn on the Wifi on your smartphone. And once your phone finds the Cozmo’s wifi SSID, you connect to it, and then a passcode will appear on Cozmo’s face; all you need to do is to insert Cozmo’s passcode quickly, and then Cozmo will come to life, making you feel a bit happy.
He can also play very relaxed and charming music.
And to educate you, the App also has a ton of videos you can watch to learn about how to control and have fun with Cozmo, which will make you easy to understand how to handle the cute little Cozmo.
So, when he’s set up, you can start having so much with it.
Also, if you don’t do anything with him, he will just come up to you ask you to play a game with him, which is pretty cute.
And if you want to play a game, you have to accept the invitation, and then he will choose a victim of his choice, and then the App will allow you to play with him.
But if you don’t want to play with that kiddo, he still got his back, he can also play on his own with his great magic cubes, and you can grab a popcorn and watch him playing.
And one thing to note is that the more he plays more the features that get unlocked for you in the App for you to do with Cozmo and also there's a reward for you for playing with him in the first place, which is pretty cool and makes you play more with him.
As I mentioned above, Cozmo also comes with a camera that you can use to watch through to see what he sees, and the best part is you can even take photos, which is also pretty cool.
But it would not be ideal if you are looking for a higher quality photo because it is a little low in resolution.
And taking pictures is not what it is meant for. It is just a small onboard camera to see where you are going when controlling and see what he is seeing.
He also has facial recognition, which helps him recognize if it’s a human, a pet, an object, or just his magical cubes and wishes to explore further.
The Cozmo has various sensors builtin to identify the surface he’s in and never fall if it would be on a table, for example.
But, I wouldn’t proceed or request you to proceed further to knock him down cause if you fall it down a considerable amount of times, some parts will start to wobble a bit, which is the only downside I see with Cozmo.
And just because there’s a lot of valuable technology inside that plastic shell, I would recommend you not to do any gang stuff to abuse him.
But if you are too nasty, your Cozmo is pretty much protected by its sensors and has a perfect understanding of his surroundings so that you can have a peace of mind when playing with him or just only letting him play around.
So, should you buy the cute little intelligent kiddo Cozmo?
Well, he is smart, he is funny, you can play with him, he can play on his own, you can interact with him, you can teach him, he teaches you about his new features and rewards you for playing with him and is a technological breakthrough fun gadget to have a hand around with.
Overall, it is just a nonstop and endless fun gadget to interact with, especially if you are a massive fan of comics and films related to smart little robots.
So, if you really into gadgets and most especially gadgets related to robot kind, I’m pretty sure you will have some endless fun and some of the best memorable times in your entire life.
