Apple Watch Series 6 Review - The Best Smartwatch Money Can Buy Just Got Even Better!

So, this is the Apple Watch Series 6.

In the Box

Starting with the box itself that houses the Apple Watch Series 6, the box itself is mostly the same as the previous Apple Watch packaging. Still, besides the Apple Watch and the Strap packaging, you will be shocked to find out that half of the other packaging is missing compared to the previous generation Apple watch packaging.

This time the box comes with the cable that you need to charge the Apple Watch. Still, there's no USB wall adapter, which is now sold separately by Apple, a colossal shame first up for a premium-priced smartwatch, especially when thinking about the manufacturer it is being made, the tech giant Apple.

Well, anyways, according to Apple, that's to reduce the e-waste happening throughout the entire world, which also at the same time gives the company a massive benefit of increasing the revenue fast cause people will have to spend extra money on a USB wall adapter to charge the Apple Watch.

Design

Technically speaking, aesthetically, on the outside of the new Apple Watch Series 6, the new watch faces and the latest colors meaning the materials are the same as the previous generations and the sizes it comes with.

The new Apple Watch Series 6 comes with some pretty cool new colors, which are Blue Gold Graphite and Red for the lineup Product RED as always, which will make sure it fits you if you were waiting for these colors to be painted on the Apple Watches for a long time missing your favorite color for the Apple Watch itself.

The new tech housed inside this new Apple Watch Series 6 is also pretty incredible.

Now, the Apple Watch Series 6 comes with the all-new S6 Chip inside powering this little beast and also does comes with a couple of new sensors.

So, technically speaking about the Apple Watch Series 6, the S6 Chip inside is a dual-core chip based on the A13 Bionic Chip made by Apple, which has always been perfected for efficiency, and that's the same theory here too, the Chip is impressive, not going to lie.

And Props to Apple for the improved efficiency of the S6 Chip.

Now the S6 Chip housed inside will let the Apple Watch Series 6 crack up the Always-ON display to be twice as bright while keeping up the same battery life and performance when compared to the previous generation, the Apple Watch Series 5, which is insane and would come in handy if you go out in bright light throughout the day wearing your Apple Watch Series 6 masterpiece.

And the WatchOS 7 that comes with the Apple Watch Series 6 is also pretty good. BTW has tightened up the animations slightly, which has made the Apple Watch Series 6 feel faster and snappier because the time taken by the animations is shorter.

New Features

The Apple Watch Series 6 now comes with sleep tracking as well, which was a long-awaited feature requested by Apple Watch fans from Apple which they have considered to integrate that feature to the new Apple Watch Series 6, which a lot of people would find it to be more important and exciting to live a healthy life.

Now the Apple Watch Series 6 can charge from 0 to 100 percent with just about 1 hour and 30 minutes, which is pretty fast and insane compared to the previous generations.

And I mention above in this post; this new Apple Watch Series 6 also comes with a bunch of new sensors as well which you would be able to see if you look at the bottom of the Apple Watch Series 6 or if you start to you a Health app on your new Apple Watch Series 6.

So, now the Apple Watch Series 6 comes with a new Blood Oxygen Level Sensor, which was mainly highlighted on the Apple Watch Series 6's commercial on Apple's YouTube channel, which is also pretty cool.

So technically, the Apple Watch Series 6's Blood Oxygen Sensor is using infrared photography to measure the color and, therefore, the percentage of Oxygen in your blood, which is pretty wild and accurate but always be sure to contact a doctor in an emergency because gadgets can mess up a little bit sometimes. It's just 2020 yet, not 2050!

And one important thing to note is that the Blood Oxygen Level Sensor in the Apple Watch Series 6 is not medical grade and its just integrated to the Apple Watch Series 6 to inform you if something is wrong with your Blood Oxygen levels if it detects anything, so always be sure to contact a doctor if you get any terrible readings from your Apple Watch Series 6 to make sure you are healthy.

The Apple Watch Series 6 also supports 5GHz Wi-Fi frequency, giving your Apple Watch Series 6 a better signal strength and making the online activities a bit faster.

There is also an altimeter using barometric air pressure to measure ad tell you the elevation down to the foot, which could come in handy if you love hiking or skydiving, which was also one main feature highlighted by Apple Watch Series 6 trailer.

The WatchOS 7 is slowly adding some new watch faces into the Apple Watch Series 6 via third-party plugins as it always has been, which looks cool. If you love to customize your Apple Watch Series 6, congrats now have even more watch faces and customizations to play with, with the Apple Watch Series 6.

And if you are a fashion and trendy person like most of the people are, the new Apple Watch Series 6 also has some new compatible cool looking stylish bands which are advertised by the name of Solo and Braided Loop Bands, which are clean and minimal looking bands that they announced along with the release of the Apple Watch Series 6.

The new Solo and Braided Loop Bands also has a size chart to make sure you get the right-sized version for you, which; they have a webpage about the size chart from the Apple Website itself where you can download it.

So to get the right size, they have a relevant document which you can print out and cut out the loop that you get printed on the paper and then wrap the loop around your wrist to use it as a reference to measure the right size for your Apple Watch where then you can order a Solo or Braided Loop Band in that size directly from their website itself.

And the best part about the new Solo or Braided Loop Bands is that they can be attached to both ends of the watch as always. Then you can put it on to your wrist just by stretching it over your wrist without needing to do all the hard work of removing and reinserting the buckle as the other typical Apple Watch Bands.

And speaking of the prices, they are the same as always as Apple would market them.

So, should you buy the new Apple Watch Series 6?

Well, here's the thing, If you are concerned about your daily health and are interested in the new Blood Oxygen Level Sensor, and if you want a faster watch that can keep up with today's apps without any lag, why not try this out?

And this new Apple Watch Series 6 is a lot more future proof than the previous Apple Watch Series 5 while being faster and more reliable than the earlier versions of Apple Watches by Apple, which is mainly something worth considering in the first place.

So, suppose you love to live in the Apple ecosystem or love a faster, more efficient Watch that can do a lot of things with the integrated features and sensors in combination with the tech housed inside this little beast, other than just merely telling you the time and date and can also most importantly teach you good habits while keeping you healthy at the same time. In that case, this is the best Smart Watch for you without a doubt, which is well worth the investment.
